How far in advance should I make my reservations? The sooner the better. Our equipment is very popular and we book early!
Is a deposit required? Upon confirming your purchased services, we require $50.00 on credit card to secure your event date. This is a non-refundable deposit. The balance due is collected, in cash or business check (NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED) at time of delivery.
Are there other Fees? Yes, we have a $60.00 set up/tear down fee that covers our employee's time and our fuel cost. This fee is a single charge that applies for anything that you might rent from Affordable. However, if you want to rent games or concession equipment, you can avoid this fee by picking up and returning clean units to us. You will be given 1 hour window for pickup and drop off times.
What if rains? There is no penalty for rescheduling a reservation due to rainy weather. If its raining on the day of your party, our drivers will call you in the morning to confirm delivery. You will get a rain check for your rental good for one full year to reschedule. Please call us if you have any weather related questions once your unit has been set up. No refunds are given if we complete set-up of your event and it starts to rain after we leave.
What is your cancellation policy? Call us immediately if you cancel at (513) 895-APRS (2777). Email is not an acceptable cancellation method. You must talk to someone or leave a message before 7:30 am so our drivers do not load your equipment. Please understand your deposit will be lost if you do not call.
Do I have to pay taxes? We charge applicable county taxes.
How much room will I need? Approximately a 20' x 20' area should be plenty of room for most inflatables. The unit must be within 100 feet on an electrical outlet. The inflatables can also be used indoors. The inflatable setup area should be cleared of any debris prior to our arrival time. The area should be level, free of rocks, sticks, etc. and any in-ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not sticking up.
Who sets up the inflatable? We set-up the inflatables and tear-down for pick up. This is done to ensure your safety and the safety of the equipment. Set-up time is approximately 15-30 minutes for inflatables. We ask that if you are done with the inflatables *** DO NOT *** shut down the blower. The inflatable must remain standing before it is taken down so that we can inspect and do a preliminary cleaning of the unit.
What time do you deliver and pick-up the inflatable? Time is based on your purchase order. We will arrive between 30 minutes to 1 hour before your event to set-up. You do not pay for set-up or tear-down time. Your rental period is for 4 hours. Please allow up to 1 hour for pick-up. Please make sure to quote if you have exact timing requirements at the time of purchase because we want to accommodate you if at all possible!
How does the inflatable stay inflated? We set-up the unit and inflate with a fully enclosed blower motor that must stay on the entire time that the inflatable unit is being used (unless winds exceed 25 mph or it starts to rain, in which case the motor must be shut down after everyone is off/out and clear of the unit). There are no moving parts exposed on the blower unit, which is a very important safety feature when there are children around. The blower unit must be located within 100 feet of an electrical outlet.
Can your inflatables be set up indoors? Yes, our units can be set up inside or outside! You will to have a minimum ceiling height (16' to 20') to accommodate the inflatable. The inflatable must not be set-up near hot lights, a/c vents, or any fire hazard areas. Many commercial halls, malls, gyms, etc. work well.
Can I set up the inflatable near my pool? No. Safety is our number one inflatables concern must be set up at least 20' from any pool.
Why can't I pick up the inflatable myself to cut costs? We personally set-up and tear-down every rental. The set-up will be evaluated, the correct size, type and length of power cord will be used and we make sure all of the connections are correctly made. We will use the proper straps, stakes, tie downs, and anchors to secure the inflatable to the ground and ensure it's safe operation. Also each unit is rather large and weighs in excess of 220 pounds, so your safety is also our concern.
How safe are your inflatables? All of our inflatables have a safety entrance / exit ramp for the children's protection and emergency exit flaps on the roof. Each inflatable is constructed of only the very best commercial grade 18 to 21 oz. vinyl, with double and quadruple stitching. Materials are fire retardant. The windows of inflatables are made of specially designed mesh netting, which allows for easy viewing and minimizes the chances of getting entangled. We will also supply recommended guidelines for safe use and recommended number of children allowed in the inflatable at any one time. Beware of cheap, unsafe, imitation inflatables!
